Documentary Filmmaking at SALA
Arts integration transforms learning for our Summer Academy students. In our 2018 Academy at Edgecombe Circle Elementary, students worked with filmmaker Vonnya Pettigrew of Root Branch Productions to create this documentary about the program.
Photosynthesizers: Adding Fractions Tutorial
This class from our 2017 Summer Academy at Gardenville Elementary worked with teaching artist Ras Tre to create a video demystifying improper fractions and adding fractions with different denominators.
