OUR PROGRAMS COME IN A VARIETY OF FORMATS:

Assemblies/Performances, Artist Residencies, Workshops, and Educator Professional Development

All of our arts-integrated programs, regardless of format or art form, can be customized to support Pre-K-12 school themes or curriculum plans and:

  • Align with the Maryland State Curriculum Standards and Common Core College and Career-Ready Standards
  • Build 21st Century Skills, such as critical thinking
  • Increase appreciation for and build knowledge of the arts
  • Increase understanding of other cultures

Planning Your Program

GETTING STARTED

The online program search function makes it easy to find the right program for your students. Our professional staff is also here to assist you in choosing the type of program that meets your school's curricular and budgetary needs. We provide a no-hassle approach to bringing our artists to your school or venue. Please call us with any questions or concerns at (855) 245-2787. Some questions to get you started:

  1. What type of program are you looking for?
  2. Will the program be in-person, virtual, or recorded?
  3. When would you like the program to take place?
  4. What is your budget?
  5. What is the age group of your audience?
  6. How many people will be in the audience?
  7. What curricular and/or social topics would you like addressed
Scheduling a Program

Best Option: Once you've decided which Program you'd like to schedule, click on the "BOOK THIS PROGRAM" button and fill out the short form. Your Program Coordinator will follow up with an email or phone call.

You may also call (855) 245-2787 or email in**@ar***************.org to schedule a program. Scheduling hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am-5 pm.

Pricing

The fees listed with each program description reflect Arts for Learning underwriting support and are approved from September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2024. All fees are subject to change without notice. Arts for Learning reserves the right to negotiate a higher fee for any program taking place on weekends, in the evening, or for the general public.

Confirm and prepare for the program

Confirmation will be sent to you within 10 days of finalizing the program details and is considered to be a binding, legal document that serves as the invoice/contract and provides important information regarding the program. Failure to return a signed confirmation does not constitute cancellation of the original verbal agreement.

Please advise the necessary school personnel of the technical requirements listed in the confirmation and of any special notes. If you do not receive your confirmation within 10 days, please notify our office immediately.

Payment and evaluations

A 50% deposit is required for all programs within 15 days of receiving confirmation. Balances are due on or before the program date. YA reserves the right to cancel any program for which payment has not been received.

Please do not give payment to Arts for Learning artists. A charge of 20% of the total balance due will be applied to your account every 30 days for any overdue invoice left unpaid.

For your convenience, Arts for Learning accepts MasterCard and Visa, as well as check payments. Arts for Learning is an approved vendor in all Maryland school districts.

You will receive a program evaluation email after the program. Your valuable feedback ensures the quality of our programs and services.

Be prepared

It is an Arts for Learning policy that a teacher or other school employee be present in the room or in the performance area at all times during the program. Artists have the right to refuse to conduct a program if a staff member is not in attendance.

HEALTH + SAFETY

Arts for Learning Maryland artists are prepared to comply with all in-person health and safety guidelines set forth by your school or venue. Please be sure to communicate health and safety expectations with your Arts for Learning Coordinator while planning an in-person program.

Publicity and Documentation

All artists and ensembles listed on Arts for Learning's website are Arts for Learning performers and must be advertised as such in all publicity.
