Let storytelling support your teaching and enliven any curriculum! This Professional Development (PD) teaches teachers how to tell a story—instead of reading or memorizing it—and offers a model they can use to teach students how to tell a story.

Experience your creativity and find your unique storyteller voice when you use the power of spoken word. You will discover the valuable role storytelling plays in the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, as well as learn how to help students:

Become enthusiastic about learning
Develop listening skills
Enhance imagination
Practice compassion and cross-cultural understanding
Increase language and literacy skills

Program Length 2 hours minimum; 4 hours to full day (ideal)

Pricing

Workshop Cost:: $1340 for up to 1.5 hours; $2145 for 1.5-2 hours; $3575 for 2-4 hours
Workshop Materials Fee:: Materials fee may apply.
