Moving Minds: Exploring Science Through Dance and Play

Program Type

Are your students eager to move, explore, and learn? Their need to move is a reflection of how their brains thrive on dynamic, hands-on experiences! In this interactive and energetic assembly, students will dive into scientific inquiry through the lens of dance and creative movement. By engaging their bodies, they’ll harness curiosity, observation, and creativity to explore the world around them. Let’s blend the scientific and creative processes, encouraging young minds to investigate, describe, and imagine in a way that’s both fun and educational!

Program Length 30 minutes

Technical Requirements

10’ x 10’ clear area
Access to performance area 1 hour before set up
The artist will provide a sound system for audiences of over 50 people or for large rooms/gyms
The artist will need a power outlet to plug in the sound system
The room needs to have blinds or the ability to block the light at least partially
The artist will be in communication about additional technical requirements specific to the program
