BAM! POW! KA-BLAM! In this workshop, the worlds of theatrical improvisation and comic books combine forces for some truly super family fun. We will unleash our superpowers of vocal and physical characterization to create original superheroes and place them within a comic book’s iconic style of visual storytelling, complete with speech balloons and onomatopoeia. We will learn how to define a hero’s powers and signature look using dress-up costume pieces. Utilizing basic improvisation skills, caregivers will serve as hero sidekicks, amplifying their child’s imaginative play and learning.
