An Amazing, Incredible, Impossible Seeming Adventure

Ready for an amazing, incredible, impossible-seeming adventure? Join Mr. Kevin as he uses shadow and light to tell the story of Caterpillar Dreams by Clive MacFarland. Henri is just a caterpillar, but he dreams of having an amazing, incredible, impossible-seeming adventure. Henri meets his challenges and obstacles with a stick-to-it attitude. Henri needs your help! Join Henri and his friends as they embark on their incredible journey.
Kevin uses a hand drum, a flashlight, and home-made shadow puppets to explore what it means to follow your dreams and persevere when faced with adversity. Students will also get a chance to experiment with some of the shadow puppets!

Program Length 30 minutes

Technical Requirements

10’ x 10’ clear area
Access to performance area 1 hour before set up
The artist will provide a sound system for audiences of over 50 people or for large rooms/gyms
The artist will need a power outlet to plug in the sound system
The room needs to have blinds or the ability to block the light at least partially
The artist will be in communication about additional technical requirements specific to the program
