Early Childhood Access for All Grants

GRANT DETAILS

THE GRANT MODEL

Early Childhood Access for All grants cover 50-80% of the cost of bringing an early childhood teaching artist to your school. The grant is applied as a subsidy, and the school is responsible for the remaining cost of the program (if the school is able). Baltimore City schools may also choose to apply Arts Every Day funds to cover their portion of the cost.

FUNDING PURPOSE

Early Childhood Access for All grants ensure that cost is not the prohibitive factor in a school's ability to host an early childhood teaching artist in their classroom or center.

ELIGIBILITY

All Maryland schools, Judy Centers, and Childcare Centers that service children ages 0-6 are eligible for Early Childhood Access for All grants. Consideration will be given to whether a school has applied before and whether the school has received an award before.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

We are accepting applications on a rolling basis. All applications between the 1st and the 31st of each month will receive responses by the 15th of the following month.

REVIEW PANEL

The Early Childhood Access for All panel will meet monthly to review applications.
