Quilts have long been a way for people to build community and collaborative creativity. Educators will learn multiple techniques – including stitching and needle-felting- that will work with students of varying ages to create individual quilt squares. Through a focus on visual metaphors, students can create quilt squares that build on an understanding of core content, identity, or community.
